FIFA had identified issues with their legacy technology which had been impacting their ability to promote and sell FIFA archive content directly to its customers. We began working with FIFA in 2017 to identify opportunities to make their archive video content available directly to its partners via a self-service facility.
Led by an in-depth analysis of their requirements and the design of the user experience and associated workflows, UIC Digital designed and developed a transformational, class leading front end solution. We worked closely with EVS, FIFA’s incumbent media asset management provider, to integrate all the required processes and workflows into their back-end MAM application.
The subsequent web-based portal allows FIFA partners to access FIFA archive content from any geographic location via a web browser. The portal is Amazon AWS based providing a highly resilient and performant service.
